  • Tempered glass: Best for taste. For the delicate flavours of specialty coffee it is hard to go past glass — tactile, beautiful, and it carries nothing forward from the last drink.
  • Lightweight plastic or Tritan: Lightest and most practical for commuting and everyday carry, with 50% recycled content.

If you want one cup that does everything, insulated steel is the safest choice. If coffee is the point, choose glass.

What’s the best material for reusable cups and travel mugs?

The best material depends on your lifestyle. Stainless steel keeps drinks hot or cold for longer, glass gives a clean café feel, and lightweight plastic is perfect for on-the-go ease. Every KeepCup is made with durable, food-safe, and recyclable materials designed for daily use.

What's the difference between the Commuter Iced Coffee Cup and the Thermal Cold Cup?

Both are vacuum insulated, electropolished stainless steel with a central straw valve — no taint, cold to the last sip.

The Commuter Iced Coffee Cup has a screw-fit coloured Tritan lid for a more secure, expressive carry. The base is also compatible with the Commuter Travel Mug lid and Bottle lid — so one base covers every temperature.

The Thermal Cold Cup has a clear press-in lid. A simpler approach — and you can see exactly what's inside. Sometimes that's the whole point.

Can I microwave my KeepCup Thermal?

Whilst it has a smooth electropolished finish for great taste but NO, you cannot microwave the KeepCup Thermal. None of the KeepCup stainless steel product range can be used in the microwave. If you love to microwave, we recommend KeepCup Brew or our plastic range on low temperature.

Does the Cold Cup keep iced coffee cold all day?
