Are your stainless steel cups ceramic coated?
We use electropolished 18/8 stainless steel. This is the highest-grade steel. In addition to being 90% recycled the electropolish prevents rust and taint to taste. The ceramic coating is a painted finish, which we avoid as a food contact material.
How do I clean and care for my stainless steel KeepCup?
We recommend handwashing your stainless steel KeepCup to preserve its surface finish and prolong its lifespan. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as they may damage the cup. Regular cleaning with warm, soapy water is sufficient to maintain its cleanliness.
