Why aren't KeepCup insulated Travel Mugs ceramic lined?

This is a quality issue. When the steel content is high enough, Stainless Steel is a food-safe material that can be used without a lining. We use BPA and BPS free 18/8 90% recycled stainless steel. It has no aftertaste, and therefore no ceramic lining is needed in our travel mugs.

The KeepCup reusable cup range is splashproof, each reusable cup, whether tempered glass, insulated steel or reusable plastic has an easy-fit press-on lid.
